About Jeanne Sauvé
Jeanne Sauvé is a Junior Kindergarten – Grade 8 school, with 12 classrooms, including three full-day Kindergarten classrooms. The French Immersion program begins in Grade 1. We have a strong focus on faith and academic development in both English and French. We work closely with our Catholic Parish Community of St. Joseph’s and Immaculate Conception Churches to prepare students for the sacraments and to foster a sense of spirituality.
Jeanne Sauvé is dedicated to academic excellence, the development of each child’s interests and talents, and the nurturing of the Catholic faith. Academically, our students are focusing on knowing themselves as learners. In particular, they are developing their metacognition skills in all subject areas. Students are also developing confidence in French oral communication through increased opportunities to speak French.
Jeanne Sauvé partners with the YMCA of Stratford-Perth for before and after school child care offered on-site.
Our Catholic Schools, Your Catholic Schools
Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions you will make in your child’s life. It is the place your child will spend most of his or her day learning important skills, interacting with other children, and growing in many ways.
We, at the Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board believe that we offer exemplary Catholic education that emphasizes strong academics, gospel values, and the growth of the whole person. Catholic education fosters the search for knowledge as a lifelong spiritual and academic quest.
Our mission and vision is to answer the gospel call by reaching out to those in our communities and beyond, not only as a community service, but also for those serving, as a necessary expression of their Christian faith. The expectations of our graduates are described not only in terms of knowledge and skills, but in terms of values, attitudes, and actions.
Look for information about our Catholic schools at local community centres, libraries, and of course in all of our elementary and secondary schools.
